2. Explanation

2. Explanation

  • BOLSOL HS-48 is a water/glycol type fire-resistant hydraulic fluid.  When a fire starts, the water contained in this fluid evaporates to form a smothering, protective vapour layer over the flames which prevents the fire from spreading.
  • Due to its high viscosity, there is no shortage of use in cold weather.  In spite of the water contained within the product, the selection of highly effective additives provides reliable wear protection at high working pressures.
  • Due to its low pour point(-38 °C), continues to operate without causing loss of performance even at very low temperatures.
  • Due to its corrosion inhibitors, shows excellent anti-corrosion properties.
  • Resists hard water.
3. Application

3. Application

Can be used 1 μm diameter filters. The filters must be water and glycol resistant. Mineral oil contaminants entering the system may cause plugging in filters smaller than 10 μm. The use of suction filters should be avoided due to the risk of cavitation. If such filters are to be used, filters with mesh size greater than 200 μm must be selected. No galvanized materials should be used for filter brackets.

4. Shelf Life

4. Shelf Life

It should be stored between 10°C and 40°C in its original package. Shelf life is 12 months.

5. Packaging

5. Packaging

20L, 30L, 60L of plastic drums, 200L of barrels or 1000L of IBC.
